Like the title states, I was trying to re-flash the device firmware for my 2108 after I was getting some really strange hardware issues, when I forgot to place the device in LIBusb before flashing. 

I can't get the device to echo anything in CDC mode now, but libUSB mode with DATAQ software seems to work fine. Any ideas on how to fix this? Is there a separate firmware for each USB mode?
