I'm new to Dataq products. Trying to setup the stand alone mode for my DI-2108.

I use an output from the PLC to turn on/off a relay, and wire the relay output to D1 terminals. Also, I already configured the stand alone as start recording when D1 is low. From my understanding, when the reply output is closed, the DAQ should start logging data.

However, when I run the program, D1 seems have no effect to the data logging. No matter the relay is on or off, the LED is always blinking green/yellow, and I end up getting nothing in my USB drive.

Am I missing anything from the instruction?
