DI-718B with 8B38-05 Isolated Strain Gauge Modules
Hello,
I own a DI-718B data logger with 8B38-05 Isolated Strain Gauge Amplifier Modules. When hooked to a strain gauge (full-bridge), I find that the output voltage logged by the data logger is 2.5 Volts. What is the actual voltage measured across the strain gauge itself?
8B38-05: Input +/- 20 mV and Output +/- 5 V
Is it just my output divided by 5 V / 20 mV = 250? Hence 2.5 V / 250 = 10 mV?
Or is there a more accurate calibration done for each of the amplifier modules? I don't seem to have any calibration certificate for individual amplifiers.
