DI-808 Recording Does Not Start At Trigger Condition

We have a DI-808 that does not seem to be functioning correctly.  The trigger condition to start recording passes, without starting to record.
Start recording trigger condition set to "Date/Time"
"Daily" is checked
The start trigger is set at 6:30 AM.
Monday through Thursday boxes are checked
Stop recording trigger conditions are the same other than the stop trigger, set at 11:30.
Settings are "Applied" (not applied and start recording).
The problem is the start trigger time arrives and passes without starting data recording.  The start time is about 1/2 an hour before I arrive to check the status.  Each time I check, the unit is idle.  I have to start recording manually by changing the start time and "Apply changes and start recording" 
Unit appears to be functioning otherwise.  The stop trigger works, and the data is transferred to the network as it should. 
So why is the start condition NOT starting the data recording?
