I'm setting up a DI-4208-E as a stand-alone logger.  It is in an enclosure for environmental protection.

I'd like to provide external indication when the logger is recording. I considered using light pipes from the onboard LED indicator, but I'd prefer a big flashing light.

Could I use D4/D5 for this?  How would I go about configuring them? I've found very little about using the GPIOs in stand-alone mode.
