I would like to be able to manually configure external equipment, then manually trigger the GL240 to create a log entry.

Then re-configure, and trigger a new entry.

Dataq says it's not possible... but is it really? Has anyone done this?

First thought is to START logging and then immediately STOP logging, with a logging interval of something long like 10 seconds. I expect when I START, it will take a reading, then before the next reading I STOP the logging.

Problem I see here is that it will create a new log file each time and STOP / START. So is there a way to tell it to write to the same file (without deleting old entries) each time I START?
