I sometimes use my DI-2108 in stand alone mode, recoding to a USB thumb drive. Is there a procedure that I need to follow prior to removing the thumb drive? What I have been doing when I am done recording is to press the button on the DI-2108, wait for the LED to indicate IDLE mode, remove the power and then remove the thumb drive. Is all of this necessary or can I just remove the thumb drive when I am done recording without loosing any data on the drive?
