Strain Gauge Bias design available
Hello -
For a project I needed to design a bias circuit for strain gauge inputs (a bridge circuit). I have this available if anyone can use it. I built a few so willing to sell those, but if you want the design (in KiCad), let me know and you can have it.
It has two ckt boards, which screw directly to the input terminals on the GL240. There is a header that connects the two boards together. So no wires between the boards and the GL240.
The strain gauges are connected to terminal strips on the main PCBA.
It is powered by a 12V adapter using a standard barrel jack.
On-board is a local 5V regulator, two 2.048V references, and the 10 strain gauge bridge circuits.
Email if you have questions or would like to see pics, or if you want the KiCad design.
