I have a DI-4208-E, and I was attempting a standalone recording on Channel 1 since I still didn't purchase an unlock code.

I configured recording on power up, channel 1 selected by default, inserted a FAT32 formatted 8GB flash drive into the USB A port, disconnected the unit from PC and connected it to an external power source via the mini USB interface, but the LED keeps flashing white, pressed the button, nothing changes, then it cycles through different colors, red, green, yellow, and keep blinking white again.

Am I doing something wrong, should the power come from the POE port instead? Please help.
